The concept of behavioral targeting refers to recognizing the interests of each individual by identifying interests. This is usually done by observing the search keywords and sites the individual visits and using them to serve specific content based on behavior and interests. This is another form of personalization, made possible by increased ability to track the behavior of visitors across the range of sites and channels on internet.
