Revenue per visitor is found by dividing the total revenue by the number of visitors to the site. This shows what the average value per customer is. RPV helps businesses to see what is working in their company and when they need to make changes, such as introducing new products or dropping the price. It also helps to determine how much the company should be spending on advertising to gain new customers.
